Mrs. Mulligan

I am excited to join the CLL Team as the Visual Arts Teacher this year! My passion is introducing students to the Arts at an early age. I grew up in Alexandria, VA just outside of Washington, DC and would frequently go visit the Smithsonian Art Museums to look and learn about Fine Arts from all over the world. To enhance my visual arts education I attended Virginia Commonwealth University and received a BFA in Photography & Film with a minor in Art History. Unsure of what I wanted to do with my life, I took a job as a long term substitute teacher for my high school art teacher while she was out on maternity leave - and I was hooked! I went to night school and community college to earn my Teaching License and received a full time job at a local high school where I taught everything from Ceramics to Digital Photography, Painting to Graphic Design. I recently completed my MA in Art Education from the University of Florida. When I am not in the classroom I am out taking pictures, hiking, swimming, or travelling.
